Send photos. Get a written price.
WhatsApp is the way in. Photograph the job, add one line about what is wrong, and a written price comes back with a start date and a note of anything that could move the figure. It is a message you keep.
I work in writing rather than on the phone, so there is no number to ring here. Nothing about your job then depends on either of us remembering a conversation.

This form reaches the same inbox. Photos cannot be attached to it, so if the job needs showing rather than describing, use WhatsApp.
I work anywhere within 150 km of Carlow — Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Waterford, Wicklow, Kildare, Laois, Tipperary, Dublin and the counties in between. Every job carries a 6-month guarantee on my work. Gas work and electrical work that needs a certificate are not mine, and I say so in the first message.
